California - Sierra Foothills. This is the basement of the school where I work (and the left half of my principal - haha!). We get skis/snowboards/boots donated to is from rental shops, and we sell them to raise money for student programs. I was taking inventory. We anticipate making about $40k this year. Not bad for a school of 200 students!

Awesome!

It really is. We serve low income and behaviorally challenged high school students - most of whom have experienced trauma, drug addiction, and/or significant trouble with the law. We provide food, clothes, and mental health support for them and their families (for those who have families). We also provide tons of enrichment opportunities: baseball games, basketball games, sailing, hiking, concerts... I love it!
