Aren't you glad ladies don't need those dryers anymore? I remember my mom's home version and her making me use it every now and then. O I hated that thing!

When I was a pre-teen, we had one of these at home. My sister got it from a beauty shop that closed, and all things were removed. She did use it when she did friends' hair.
So I decided to give it a try myself. Washed my hair, and went under to dry it. Of course I did not use rollers, or a scarf. After a short time, I exited from under when I figured my hair was dry to the touch. Looked in the mirror.
Looked like a tornado.
Best I could find to describe my look.

The good Ole days. It kept your feet warm, but stayed slightly damp, especially around the bowl.
