If only I had snow 😔
Still haven't been sent any!
This is a random video from the Internet, I don’t know where exactly it was filmed.
Although, if we take the place where I live, yesterday I spent about three hours digging out the driveway in front of the garage and part of the adjacent road. There was really a lot of snow. When it dawns, I can take a photo (I have an old primitive phone, it doesn’t take photos at this time of day, it’s too dark).
As a child, I remember making snowmen; there was a time when I found an old torn officer’s cap in the trash and I had a snowman in this cap.

A picture from my garden. The big tree is an apple tree, a bush on the left is the berries "Irga" (I don’t know the English name for this berry, it tastes a little like chokeberry, only distinctly sweet. These berries make quite good jam, and wild birds also love these berries).
To the right behind the apple tree is a pair of honeysuckle bushes.

Yes, I've tried such things. We call it "brushwood". I take it this is a sweet dough with powdered sugar?
My mother made similar ones, although not exactly the same shape, due to the fact that we have a lot of apple jam. We make something like cookies with jam, which looks like brushwood, but they are more like envelopes with jam. Frankly, I rarely cook anything special; most often we use the products that we have on hand. If we take the Russian recipe for such “brushwood” that I know, there is no apple jam in it, but there may be honey or powdered sugar.
There is also something similar called chak-chak, but the flour products there are much thinner. If I'm not mistaken, chak-chak is most often prepared by Tatars.

Chuk-chuk (a picture from Internet)

Although I personally love fudge among sweets. They are made from sugar, condensed milk (that is, milk is condensed with sugar beforehand) and this dish also requires fresh milk. In other words, milk and sugar)

At one time I ate a lot of chocolate, but for now I was forced to give up this habit because I managed to give myself a nasty disease, gout. Therefore, I was forced to follow some kind of diet, although my favorite sugar, oddly enough, did not leave my diet. I can no longer eat chocolate and meat in excessive quantities )))
