The beach is long, and there it is a long shoreline.
Now to answer your other portion of question.
Peeps stay bz inside the hotel rooms. Then they get hungry, and go on the strip to get food. Finally at sunset, they walk barefoot on the shallow waters of the beach, and plan their next day.
There are many interesting activities in the area, besides swimming in salt water. I'm a fresh water swimmer. No Sharkies in Lake Michigan
