Current asking price: $5.5MIL.
I would buy it in a flash.. Not afraid of heights, or earthquakes.
My problem is I'm a little short on kash.
I think that house is overpriced by $5,499,980 .
All I have is a Double Saw in my pocket. :old :idunno

Cool looking house, but I could not be bothered with the stairs.
Price is a bit OTT for my taste too - though as the average West Aussie house is now round $500,000 not as scary as a few years ago.
There's an elevator.

Or stairs for those who prefer them.

I'm not afraid of heights, but earthquakes - yes. I'm very afraid of earthquakes. It was originally built in the 1800s and renovated in 1985. I'm sure it's been retrofitted for quakes but just looking how top-heavy it is and knowing what happens to all that wood in a quake... ack!

It's mainly used as a vacation rental.

That's what I figured, too. Do albino peacocks even exist?
Years ago, I saw one in a small, private zoo in the midwest. He had a dark-beige-and-white pied hen with him. There were more, but those were the only two I could see well. They were about the coolest birds I've ever seen!

We bought our house for 125 thousand has 3/4 of a acre.
5 bedroom has 2 bathrooms.
Worth 325 now they say.
We live in tiny town. Never going to sell for that.View attachment 4227720
Housing prices are crazy. My roommate bought the house we live in in the 1980s. It cost $50K. Zillow says it's worth $260K but that's a little difficult to believe as this is a high crime area now.

OTOH, there's a 2bd/1ba down the street that's a renovated meth house and it sold for $230K last year. I'm pretty sure it's a rental now. I wonder if they told the new tenants it was a meth house?
