Bought 6 pullets at Tractor Supply last night - I'm not sure how old, perhaps a few days. 5 of them are up and about and doing fine, but one of them just lays on the floor of the crate. Her legs are not splayed out like the pictures I've seen here of spraddle leg, but they are noticeably thinner than those of the other 5. When holding her, she'll stand up in my hand for 10 or 20 seconds, then lay back down again, with her wings spread out a little, and her legs folded up behind her, not really tucked underneath like the others do - as if she lays down by falling forward instead of straight down.

I've dipped her beak in water, but she doesn't seem to take much interest - maybe a swallow or two.

Try giving her electrolyte water for a day or so--fine for the others as well. TSC sells SaveAChick vitamin/electrolytes or you can make them:

HOMEMADE ELECTROLYTE SOLUTION

1/2 teaspoon salt substitute
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon table salt
1 tablespoon sugar
1 gallon water​
