Hellooo Avian Keepers,
We have 19 free ranging chickens including 1 Lavender Ameraucana Rooster on Northwestern US rural acreage. While free ranging we love that the chickens are worker bees in turning soil, eating bugs and fertilizing as they roam. And fresh eggs, of course! Our flock is mixed, same ages, Cream Brabanters, Lavender Ameracaunas, Salmon Favorelles, Gold Sex LInk, Color Pack and Dominant Coppers. I want to keep them healthy and happy as possible in using techniques to prevent issues.
Growing cut flowers, fruits and food makes my world go ‘round plus COFFEEeeee.
I look forward to absorbing the knowledge that you all have gleaned from years of experience! Thank you for walking the chicken path.
Most humbly,
Inanaeggshell
