Hi I have eggs in lockdown in my brinsea advance. I filled both sides with water to increase humidity but my reader won’t go past 60 humidity. How do I increase without opening the top ?

I havent done this in a while, so please double check me, i could be wrong.
so if its in lockdown youve taken off the cap for the second one and added in water, i think your honestly good, we personally had it similar to 60%, and i think your temp needs to be 98% to. Sorry if this doesnt help

How far are you in your lockdown?if you are early and in an emergency, I’d probably open it and add a sponge or two depending on how big your incubator is.
just remember is not how much water is in the incubator but how much area of that water is exposed to the blowing air. You could have a whole bottle of water inside the incubator but If the only water that is exposed is water bottle neck/ opening(cap removed) there isn’t much of that water evaporating in the air.

I hope that make sense.

Now 60% sounds pretty regular.

Yep! It does tottally, thats the huge thing, you need to open/close the air hole in order to have the water work properly
