I have a hova-bator (forced air) 1583. How do I increase the humidity. My BQ are set to hatch in one week. Does anyone have any experience with this model? I have hatched chickens without doing anything different with the humidity. I do not want to mess up the BQ. Thanks!

Typically, during incubation you fill one trough with water and for hatch you fill the 2nd trough as well. Do you have a liner with the troughs in your bator? Of course, you do want to have an accurate reading from a hygrometer so you know how much water is actually necessary for a successful hatch.
