Ok....you'd think I'd know the answer to this question...but I don't.

I know that using Wazine their is a 14 day withdrawal period for consumption of eggs. BUT, is it safe to incubate eggs from hens that have been treated??!!

Sorry to ask such a silly question....

I incubate mine when they're on worming withdrawl.

I use Ivermectin and as I understand it, Ivermectin is used on humans (called by a different name), so it's not that it's not safe for humans to consume. BUT that when the worms are expelled, they might not be dead yet and in very rare cases, as they exit the vent, may crawl up the reproductive tract and get incorporated into an egg. So it's more of an Ewwww factor rather than safety.
