incubated chicks dying as soon as they hatch

Hi folks. Sent someone ten eggs to incubate. Three hatched and died immediately afterward- he said they didn't even get a chance to dry off before they died. I think he put them in lockdown on day 18. I wondered if that made a difference, or if the shipping could have been the cause. Or humidity? Not sure what type of incubator he used. These were Swedish Flower Hens mailed overnight and put in 'bator right away.

Any ideas on possible causes of death?

Sorry to hear the chicks didn't make it. Hard to say what the problem may have been. Hopefully someone has some ideas.
