Ok I jumped the ball and went into lockdown on day 17..... I moved the eggs that are not as far along into my new bator and locked down 18 eggs in my older bator. When I candled I saw 2 that were questionable but left them in just in case. All the rest look promising..... now the wait.

Ok here we are day 19( by my hatch a batch app) and day 18 by my incubators counter and we have 3 internal pips! I am so excited, will be more excited after they make their appearance actually but still totally stoked because they are all green eggs. I have been trying to hatch the green eggs for a while and have not been successful. I enjoy the color of the eggs and they are some of my best layers!

Ok here we go! 2 internal pips 1 external pip and the start of a zipper, that is chatting up a storm! So excited about the green eggs!

Ok so while I am trying to figure out how to post zip pics this little one Pops out!

Ok my first hatch with higher humidity is drawing to a close. I set 18 eggs into lockdown, right now there are 10 chicks in the brooder with 4 more still looking promising. One of the hatched chicks is a scissor beak with one eye, if it learns to eat and drink on its own it may live. Right now it is lively. The other 9 look healthy and are fast!
