Incubating chicken eggs

I took one of the red plugs out and I check them this morning I put my light on top of the eggs and I saw them moving but the egg is full tho tomorrow makes 21 days so they should be hatched tomorrow or tonight but do you think I should take both of them red plugs out because there is a few of the eggs that ain’t fulled the egg yet they moving tho so idk what to do about the red plugs it wouldn’t hurt the other eggs that isn’t full yet? do I even need the red plugs??
And the incubator I got doesn’t have a fan I don’t think it only says “heater on” but the temp is around 98.6 but it jumps to 100 half of the time is that normal?

The humidity on the incubator stays between 40-50% is that okay for the eggs I’m sorry if I’m asking too much questions it’s my first time incubating chicken eggs

If you are on day 18 or later, you should keep your humidity to at least 60%. During days 0 - 17, 45% is perfect too.

I already said THROW THE RED PLUGS AWAY! They will essentially suffocate your embryo's by diminishing how much air flow goes through the bator. No, getting rid of the plugs will NOT negatively impact any of the eggs or embryos.

No fan.. IF temp on the bator is accurate.. I would be surprised to see anything hatch by day 21... they *should* hatch late in theory according to your temperature. With no fan.. ... temp should be set at 101.5. But see what day your chicks actually hatch on since this is where we are at now.. and adjust your future temps IF needed. You would very likely see the fan if there was one inside the top. I didn't think I could make one out. So if you don't think there is one.. there likely isn't.. it would have had to have been added after market on that bator... but so many folks do that so figured asking was the best option.

No problem... we all start our adventure somewhere and answering questions when I can, is my way of sharing in your adventure! Plus it gives me opportunity to review and challenge my thought process to never stop learning and improving. ;)

40-50% humidity was perfect for the first 18 days. Did you see your turner working during that time?

Have you taken out the turner now... candle the eggs and draw a line around the air sack. Lay them down on their side with the lowest mark on your air sack facing upwards... AND raise your humidity... probably filling ALL the wells in your bator. Aiming for 65-75% humidity.

If you are able post a couple of photos.. one you can see all is good and the other you say is too full to see anything.. and see what out experienced candlers make of the embryonic development. The differences may be hot or cool spots inside the bator causing developmental delays or boosts. Or it could be normal ones and quitters. Without seeing what you're actually looking at, too hard for me to give any thought.

Yes, some variation in temperature throughout the day can be very normal. Within moderation it isn't too much of an issue.

They are on day 20 tomorrow is day 21 so idk if the humidity is normal for them if they are almost due and everything but do I take the red plugs out of the incubator or do I leave them in but should I take them or what? Is it okay if I take both of them out it wouldn’t hurt

Okay I’ll see the red plugs out and and my turner has been working very good and I haven’t took it out and I haven’t put a line around the air sack and when I take the egg turner out do I still have to turn them ? There is about 4 eggs that you can see through but there is 7 you can’t see through only when you have your light on the top of the egg but you can barely see it it’s like the egg is full and everything

No, they don't get turned anymore once you remove it. They are left to get oriented and ready for hatch. :)
Okay I’ll take the turner out and I already took the red plugs out

Picture 1 shows the egg is full (that’s egg I was talking about but there is about 5 more is like that)

Picture 2 shows the egg isn’t full but it’s getting there but you can see inside it though
