Incubating chicks

I set my temperature to 99.5*F and the humidity from 40-50%. I would definitely recommend extra thermometers and hygrometers alongside the incubators' that you can calibrate for accuracy. The ones that come with the incubator are often a bit off.

The only rule for hatching eggs: don’t look at the incubator readings! Get yourself a couple decent thermometers ( or maybe a hygrometer combo) and use those, up or drop the incubator settings to get a steady temp on the external thermometers but ignore the incubator thermometer completely. The other thing you should know is that it is habit forming, be ye warned! Enjoy!
