I plan on incubating eggs I get from my hen house but they are cold because my hens aren’t broody and don’t spend much time on them. It’s still cold where I live so the eggs laid that day are cold when I try to pick what I want to incubate. My question is can these eggs still be placed in an incubator for hatching. They are no way frozen , just cold , its about 45deg. Here. Do I have to get them as soon as they are laid ? Or if they are cool to the touch can they still be used for incubating?
