It's really a bad idea, it's almost guaranteed death for both chicks.
If one yolk is fertile, the other will go bad and kill the living yolk, if both are fertile, they'll die halfway from no room.
I agree with @nuthatched. Really bad idea for about 5 or 6 reasons that have been discussed in these pages before. To answer your question, yes it has been tried, many times and usually ends badly but on rare occasions one or both have hatched. There are reasons that there are no twins among egg laying species in nature. You aren't contemplating something new.
Someone is trying a double yolk hatch now. They recently posted photos of the egg as it is developing. I found the thread, they just went into lockdown.
You might read that thread and see the outcome before you decide.
As usual, I agree with 'Canoe. To me, I would never try to hatch a double yolked egg. I don't need all that drama in my life, I have enough as it is. But some people just can't resist.
