So I’m planning on incubating turkey and duck eggs in a few days and was wondering how some of you incubate them together?

Ok, where should my humidity be day 1-18 and in lockdown?Turkey and duck eggs are fine to incubate together.
When they hatch, brood them separately though.![]()
Ok. Does it work dry incubating duck and turkey eggs?30-35% incubating, 60-65% at hatch.
When they hatch the humidity spikes up, don't worry about that.
I wouldn't go lower than 30% humidity whether you have to add water or not.Ok. Does it work dry incubating duck and turkey eggs?
Ok. Do you hand turn them. I’ve read that people get better hatches when the turn them by hand.I wouldn't go lower than 30% humidity whether you have to add water or not.
Ducks and turkeys need some moisture.
I do hand turn. Lots of people don't. It's really up to you.Ok. Do you hand turn them. I’ve read that people get better hatches when the turn them by hand.
Ok. I’m also not home everyday, so do I have to turn them the same time every day or does it not really matter?I do hand turn. Lots of people don't. It's really up to you.
I've noticed, with my eggs, at my house - that my hatch rates have been better with turkey and duck eggs hand turning.
I'm triple checking that theory now... I put two batches of turkey eggs in my new cabinet incubator, so we'll see how it goes.![]()
