Probably not. You can try to put the whole thing back in the incubator, but it seems unlikely that it would develop to hatching age.

How far along was it.

hi,

I'm new to this site but have been reading posts for a few weeks. I'm hatching duck eggs (Rouens, and Indian runners) for the first time ever! my two kids are very excited and are hopeful that we will keep some :) We have the incubator in the hallway between there bedrooms so i thought it was interesting that you said they smell really bad!!! lol i guess they will experience this without escape. I should have read your post before I chose a spot to put the incubator. I also wanted to ask about the humidity. mine is at 55% as this was the % that seemed to be repeated in my information searching. what if only one or two chicks pip ...will raising the humidity make it to hard for the remaining eggs to pip?
Thank you in advanced for your reply :)
I really got a lot of great information from this site before I bought my eggs!
