Hi, I am a first time duck hatcher and am having some issues with my incubator. I am using a very cheap "mini intelligent 7 egg incubator." It has a monitor for temperature but not for humidity so I can't tell if the humidity is ok. I filled the water pan before use and after about an hour I noticed that roughly 80% of the lid has steamed up with condensation. I don't know if this is normal or bad. I also don't know how to reduce the condensation. The incubator came with 1 small hole at the top but maybe it needs more holes? Please help.

Is your incubator the round one with yellow? There is really no way to measure the humidity in that one. I put an extra humidity meter in it. Are you hatching duck eggs again?
Yeah these ones failed. I have a new set of eggs now in a mini eco II Brinsea incubator and it’s going much better
