Advice please.... I have just set 12 eggs in my incubator and just a day later one of my hens has gone broody. She's not sitting on anything but all puffed up and growls and pecks at me. My question is can I put some of my fertile eggs out of incubator under her for her to hatch? She is a silver pencilled wyandotte bantam. I'm pretty new to the game so appreciate any help you can give me!

She's been broody a couple of days I've tried lifting her off a few times and she's just gone back. But I will wait a bit longer then. Should I put some ordinary eggs under her to swap out if she does continue to sit?

A couple of days is fine, as long as she’s showing full determination to hatch eggs, you can put the eggs under her. Good luck with your hatch!
