omg they poop alot so now I have to get a bigger box. And get some kind of shavings to put on the floor. Maybe some shredded paper since I got alot of it. Well now I can hatch eggs instead of buy them from companies. Alot cheaper for me that way & plus I learn alot from incubating them myself.

Yeah, I read in a lot of places that paper isn't good since it can cause splayed legs. I am using wood chips too. But I think it's cedar chips that's bad for chicks? I think I have aspin or is it pine....shoot can't remember.
I know aspin is good for small animals like rabbits, so that's what I try to get all around. Oh, I do have one baby bunny now. May not have gotten chicks to hatch but did get one rabbit to have a baby A little black one. It was an oops. Mamma, black/white mini lop, escaped and got into papa's, californian, pen. Didn't really want a baby but he/she is cute.

Just put in 6 eggs today. (3) RIR (3) BR Due to hatch on 27th almost 100% positive they are all fertile. Got them new incubator I just built. I have ran it for a few days and it does hold heat and humidity. Humidity is about 45% & after 24 hours I'll see if I have to add more water.
