Incubating eggs...having temp problems HELP!!

Warm water works best since it will be closer to the incubator temp and won't lower the incubator temp as much. Not hot water but warm. I do the wrist method like you see done for baby formula. If the only thing I can feel is the fact it is wet then it's about the right temperature.

Also doesn't take as long to start becoming humidity that way.

Your temp. in a still air bator should be 101 at the top of the eggs.
