Hi! I have 3 ducks eggs in the incubator for about 1 week. The temp and humidity are at correct levels. They're getting turned everyday, about 3 times. I have a white ( probably from my Pekins ), Runner and Cayuga egg from my ducks in the incubator. My White egg had a little break or a crack on the shell, but the baby's developing fine.. Is this something to worry about as they keep growing? My Runner egg was developing fine but I candled them last night and all of the veins were on the edges but some were dark and clumped on a small line on the edge. It didn't look like a blood ring or a burn mark. I've incubated duck and chicken eggs before, so I' sure the duckling passed. I just never saw it before. I'll have to take pictures of each egg when I get home today.

Yes, please post pictures when you can.

Depending on the severity of the crack, he should continue to develop fine. If it is just a small dent, or small cracks, it will be okay. If the crack is very large, you can melt wax or use clear nail polish to seal the cracks.

Will need to see pictures of the second egg. If an egg is still questionable it is okay to leave it for a few more days.

It's not that big, it's a little line that you can't really see that much.
