incubating eggs question NEED HELP!

hello everyone i would love to start adding to my flock i love the chickens i have already but feel there is not enough of them i have 5 hens and 1 rooster so getting access to some fertile eggs is no problem but i only have a minimum wage job i do spend a fair amount of time and money with my chickens allready so i thaught a home made inucbator would be the least costly so witch brings me to my next question i have done tons of reasearch and read you have to turn the eggs atleast 3 times a day now that is gonna be a problem for me becuase i have school and work could i limit the turns to when i wake up to to when i go to bed and thats it im usually up by 5:30 and am off to school by 8:00 and from school i go to work so i dont come home till 6 but then im home all night what could i do any advice?

three times a day is the minimum. an odd number is recommended for hand turning

I work 12 hrs. I turn before I leave, when I get home 14 hrs later and then before I go to bed. The odd number is there to ensure the egg is not always in the same position during the long stretch.
