Incubating eggs-setting chicken eggs on sept. 28-30th

Hey everyone come join me for a hatch a long, I just set some eggs in the ol incubator
12 showgirls and 6 Seramas
This is only my 2nd time hatching in this bator wish me luck!

I set 12 SQ SLW eggs (shipped) yesterday (in an egg carton) and 2 fresh home eggs for control eggs. This is my second hatch with my Brinsea Eco 20. My first hatch was 6/6 ( 4 boys, 2 girls).

Welcome to the egg hatching forum and good luck.

I haven't candled my eggs yet I think I will wait a few more days so that they can get some more growth before I start candling

I'm manually turning eggs about 3-4 times a day

Well I candled my incubating eggs out of 18, 3 are no good....1 of the showgirl eggs has ring of death and 2 of Seramas were no good due to not being fertile. I think losing only 3 isn't so bad considering they all were shipped, let's just hope for a good hatch.
