Incubating eggs

I hold the eggs to my ear and tap on the egg. Usually I can hear it. They can take extra days. I had one at day 26 hatch. I was about to throw the egg out but saw movement and it had pipped. I moistened it and it hatched shortly thereafter.

Usually if the chick hasn't externally pipped, if you try to help it, most often they don't make it.

just candled one, internal pip has occurred, I saw the beak, and saw it breathing. I just hope it will hatch.
