Hey guys I just had one question. So yesterday I put some eggs in the incubator. Today I woke up and saw something about putting your eggs pointed down in the incubator. So today I turn them up side down. So I am worried if my eggs got mixed up since I turn them upside down.

Are they in an egg turner?
In the incubator they either need to be fat end (aircell) up or laying down. But they need to be turned several times a day.

I would guess if you had them pointy side up for just one day you should be fine, if they had been left that way for most of incubation it would be much more detrimental. Are the air cells still at the large end? If so you probably don't have anything to worry about since you caught it early. :)

Large end up and eggs on their sides are both fine for incubating, you definitely want to avoid putting them pointy end up (I've heard incubating this way can create air cell displacement, saddled air cells, and can interfere with the chick orienting itself correctly towards the end of incubation).

Good luck with your hatch! :D
