What should temperature be and humidity be for hatching eggs? How do i know if i have stil air or forced air incubator? Its little giant incubator

Forced air means it has a fan. Temp for forced air is 99.5
Still air has no fan. Temp at top level of eggs is 102 degrees.
Set the temp on the 'bator a couple days before you put the eggs in.

At the level where the top of the eggs will be, it needs to be 102 degrees.
98 is way too low. The humidity is a bit high. I keep it at about 40-45% for the 1st 18 days.
Mainly, though, you need to get that temp up.

didigital thermometer is reading 98 degrees and humity 55....and regular themometer is reading 100.....no eggs in it yet just testing it out

Once you get the temp set, make sure it is stable for several hours. I have found that the bast way to make sure your hatch goes well in an LG is to keep the 'bator in a stable temp environment. Get the inside temperature where it needs to be - then don't touch the dial.
Messing with the thermostat after the eggs are set usually results in temp spikes which are bad for the eggs.
I've had some pretty good hatches in an LG, but you really have to keep an eye on it & figure out what works best for you.
Good Luck!
