I want to start incubating chicken eggs. I have never done it before. any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to BYC. Glad you decided to join our flock. Mountain Peeps and Kelsie2290 have given you some great links. I can tell you from experience, be sure and use an incubator with an air circulating fan and an automatic egg turner. Even the inexpensive styrofoam incubators I've used have given me a good hatch rate when I've had both of those in the incubator. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have. Incubating eggs is fun. The first time around you may not be as successful as you had hoped as things can and do go wrong. Use that first hatch as a learning experience. But once you get the hang of it, it can be a very rewarding way to raise chickens!
