Hi everyone. I've hatched eggs in an incubator before, but just got an email my MyPetChicken which had this instruction:
~To ensure the best possible hatch (barring an incubator malfunction): Allow the eggs to settle in your incubator by not turning them for *up to* 5 days, positioned fat end up.
I emailed them to get clarification, but I haven't seen this before. Are they saying to put them in the heated incubator and not start turning them for "up to" the first 5 days? Anyone ever do this?? I always "preheat" the incubator while the eggs are resting 12-24 hours, and then start turning as soon as I put them in.
