A question for those that incubate. I've been using a Brinsea 56 EX to hatch many batches of silkies, and upon lockdown, I move them to the NR 360 so I can leave the rest in the Brinsea alone. That's been working great.

Over a week ago, the neighbor farmer gave me 7 pekin duck eggs she wanted me to hatch. I wasn't paying attention and set some more silkie eggs, and now see their hatch date is the same as the ducks, 6/12/23. Those duck eggs were horrendously filthy. Before putting them in the incubator, I scraped the chunks off and most of the gunk, trying to be careful not to ruin the surface. But they are still yucky looking, so when the time comes to move those eggs along with the silkie eggs that are also due to the NR for lockdown, will their filth bother the silkies when they hatch and mingle around them? I can't really leave either in the Brinsea 56 to hatch with 30 other silkie eggs in there, can I?
