Hello Everyone, I am incubating eggs for the first time and my incubator temp reads 97-98 degrees. Is that a good temp or should it be higher? I have put a towel around the incubator to see if the temp will rise but it hasn't. Should I be worried?

Try to bring the temp up a little more. Ideally it should be 99.5, at least try to get it within a degree of that.

It depends. You need an accurate, preferably calibrated, thermometer to gauge temperature. Don't reply on the incubator settings especially a less expensive one. It will also depend on if it's a circulated or still air incubator. Once you're worked through those nuances then, yes, you want it at 99.5 measuring at the middle of the eggs.
