Incubating for the second time

Well first batch of eggs i bought and incubated where not fertile So going to try again please cross your fingers and toes for me and say a prayer that my new eggs will hatch. I bought wyanndotte eggs and a mix of bantams. The bantam eggs are so little I can't wait to see them when they hatch. I have my incubator running at 100 steady working on humidity but still close to 50 percent. So hopefully will see something soon. How soon can I see if anything is in the eggs. I guess I'm kinda worried that i got srewed over again and not have fertile eggs. and a little anxious to see evidence of baby chicks. I have had them now for 1 1/2 days. will i be able to see anything by the fourth day. Happy Hatching to Everyone.

Providing you have a very bright light, you sometimes can see tiny veins in the egg by day three, however it won't be as interesting as it would be if you waited 'till day seven or so. Where are you getting your eggs from? I'd be telling them that none of the eggs you got from them were fertile. Congrats, and good luck!

I bought 20plus eggs off ebay none where fertile emailed the woman i bpught them from she said she would replace them if i paid shipping again. i didn't think that was fair because I had already paid a total of 30 dollars for the eggs. Don't know what I should do from here. Feel kinda ripped off.

If the eggs were shipped it is ALWAYS a gamble for them to develop.
Many of us buy shipped eggs so that we might get birds that are not
available from nearby locations. They very well could have been fertile
when they left the seller, but conditions during travel are often suspect.
Incubating can even sometimes be hit or miss. Packing can also be
an issue. I prefer to see bubble wrapped eggs, myself....

Some people also suggest to order eggs so that shipping distance is not
so great. I sometimes have better luck with eggs coming from faraway
New York, Florida, & Texas, than some where closer.

The seller was gracious to offer more for just the price of shipping.
If you don't want to try again from that seller, you might look for
some eggs that are closer to you, maybe Craigslist under farm & garden.

Dont get too discouraged.
