Hows your hum looking now ?? Is today day 21 ??

It is Day 19 and the humidity is at 63%.

I was able to correct the humidity during the second week and kept it between 25-45%.

I have one that is halfway zipped (chirpy little thing) and two that have pipped!

Totally of topic but, I love Catalina Island! I'm from San Diego and I used to drive over there on dates.

Back on topic! Good luck on your hatch!

Ok, current tally...

1 Quiter at aprox 4 days, removed during the second week.
1 I thought stopped developing, still not sure if I blew it on that one, removed during second week. Lesson learned, leave any questionable ones in the bator longer.

2 Hatched (One at Midnight, the other at 4AM)
1 Halfway out
1 Halfway zipped
1 Pipped and starting to zip

1 No sign yet

Wow, no one told me hatching is such a noisy process! feel like a new mom with no sleep! :-)

Pics soon...

Final Tally...

6 Hatched - happy & healthy

1 Quiter at aprox 4 days, removed during the second week.

These d'Uccle babies are much sweeter and mellower than the day old Silkies I raised this summer!
