Incubating just laid eggs. Yes or no?

candled last night, all 4 eggs with spidering on day6 one egg not stored on day 15. lost power this morning for an hr. fifteen. dropped to 78 humidity shot to 65.  does this interfere with final results ?

X2 with Aphrael. I have the Brinsea octagon 20 advance and it has the cool down option on it. You set it for the desired amount of time you require and the incubator turns the heating element off but keeps the fan running. After the time the incubator clicks back on to bring it back up to temp.

thank you !

The last batch I incubated back in Sept I had 6 that I added the day they were laid, out of those only 2 made it. I wondered if it was that I took them strait from the coop to the incubator...

yorkshire coop, i have candled the egg that is due tomorrow a couple times and there was no movement or change. It was the last of the ones that went straight from the chicken to the bator. I did open it today to see what was going on in there. it was fully formed (white) with egg tooth and claws but none of the yolk had absorbed and it was half size. body size of a blueberry. I am sure it died during the power outage. the 4 eggs that went in on the 18th i thought were dead as well but when i recandled them this night i seen movement in 3 of them they are the ones that was stored. I have grown tired of seeing dead chicks and i want to get to the bottom of this. today, I added 3 more serama eggs and 17 of my LF eggs. All stored but 3 from today. I have marked them as well. hope you had a great thanksgiving and i am sorry i didnt get back with you sooner. I just saw your message.

No problem granny I'm sure you have been very busy. Oh and I'm sorry for the quitter again :hugs

I was hoping for a few more replies on this thread to my question but it seems no one wants to say!!

I so hope you have better luck with these and the movement is great in the others. Seramas are known though for being difficult to incubate and hatch? That's what I've being reading on the inter webber.
Keep us posted and speak to you soon :frow
