Incubating methods?

I once tried taking the chicks out the little window and kept burning myself. With my last ones I had 15 good eggs left by the time they were ready to hatch and all but the one that drowned hatched, so I was pretty happy! They started pipping Tuesday night, three were out Wednesday morning, six more Thursday morning, and the last four throughout the day Friday, I can live with that. If all my hatches will go that well I'll be happy!

Whenever I handle chicks or eggs, I wear clean cotton lab gloves. They are very thin, yet protect well. I forgot to add that part, sorry. I get them at work, but you can find them or a subsitute anywhere.

Besides the heaters are only 40W and only give a little tickle of a burn. Call them "battle scars" and feel good about them.
