Can anyone help with my muscovy egg hatching!? I'm on day 35 and there's nothing happening. They have been on "lockdown" for the last 3 days. Temp is at 100 and humidity is at 75%. I candled them when I took the egg turner out and there was still movement in the eggs so they were still alive then. How long do I leave them before I call it and say they are not going to hatch?

If they haven't externally pipped then it's quite safe to take them out of the incubator and candle them to see what's going on. Just try and keep the egg in the same position it's sitting in inside the incubator. Hopefully they are just taking their time and you'll see some progress soon.

I took one out and candled it, I didn't want to press my luck if taking them out was a bad idea. That one was still alive so I put it back in and will continue to wait impatiently I guess!!
