I was asked from a older man (we've become friends after hubby and I bought birds from him) to incubate some peafowl eggs....I have incubated chicken, turkey, ducks, etc...just never pheasants or peafowl eggs...is there anything I need to know...or is it about the same...oh..I do need to know how long does it take for them to hatch? Thanks!

How are the chicks after the hatch? Are they like poults or like chicks? LOL Another question..what about ringneck pheasant eggs....sorry...just didn't wanna make a separate thread if you'd be able to answer it all for me LOL

Peafowl eggs can be a little harder to hatch than other eggs we allways set them under a chicken for a week before putting into the incubator. Never had very good luck just using a incubator. Ringneck should be easy they hatch in 24 to 25 days.
