I just talked to DS. He said he heard peeping but did not look further.
I can hardly wait to get home! (1 more hour!)

Cheyenne has been online most of the evening doing Band homework.

I hatched the third orp...beautiful lighter blue...like a shade darker than a lavender. Baby was doing well, fluffed out and even ate and drank in the brooder. But the little one passed away about an hour ago. So, it spent about 8 hours with us.

The other two orps were a (without a doubt) dark blue and a black. Both had expired and only partial absorbed the yolk.

June's other baby also expired and had expired not long after lockdown from the looks of it

So...I have 2 orps and 1 cute Dellie cross...there shall be no more.

I do however have 2 broody ducks on eggs...so in about 2.5 - 3 weeks I should have ducklings.

Well, 2 Orps and a Dellie cross it will be then. We will be waiting (anxiously) for pictures!

BTW .... I see 2 babies under my broody!

Cheyenne has been online for about 6 hours, listening to music lessons. Next week is her last week of Private Band Lessons and she has to perform 6 pieces for the teacher. She was practicing one of the songs from the Pirates of The Carribean tonight...

Lady Hawk! I'm so glad you got at least the three! And a sweet little Isaak baby to boot??

Lucky girl! You know we expect pictures ASAP! How about having Sarah come over with her camera and post some for ya. I don't think I can wait till hubby gets back to see them!!

My patience level is already at an all time low this week!

Here is a dark chick (black or blue?) ....

I saw a splash chick in there too, but the picture I got was of a pile of poo

.... I cleaned up the poo pile from under her, and she is hunkered down .....
