Incubating Question

After a duck has laid, how long do you have before you have to get the egg to the incubator? All advice appreciated.

I assume it is probably the same as chicken eggs up to 2 weeks I have in my incubator 2 eggs that I found that are at least a week old and they are developing just fine.

Thanks. I have campbells and mallards. What are the chances the mallards will stay on my pond if i do not clip them? They always have plenty of food and were pin raised before i got them.

Well we normally raise and release mallards evey year and they do just fine.. They stay around!!

Ad far as the eggs go.. I normally don't wait longer than 7 days before putting them in the incubator but I have heard you can wait up to 2 weeks if you keep them at room tempature.. not too cold or not to hot.
