incubating questoins

I just set these eggs and added the Accurite on the left is why the temp isn't where it should be, it hasn't haven't come up to the correct temps just yet as the Springfield is doing. I always give them a few hours. I keep mine at the back of the bator away from the turner racks and motor.

I don't know what type incubator you have so can't comment on the plugs without seeing or knowing what kind.

Tuffoldhen, mine looks just like that!!!...........but the turner is a bit diferent. r all fome incubators dry?

my bator has 3 diferent water slots. 1 big squar and 2 bar slots. can that control the humidity? if i fill the big slot (and keep it filled)on day 1-18 then fill all of the slots on day19-24 will that take care of the humidity??? Is that what the slots r 4?

The turner I got from G.Q.F. Mfg. Co. when I ordered the Hova incubator #1583 it's the No. 1611. Hold 42 eggs (any size from small quail thru large chicken eggs).

Not all turners look the same. There is a plastic water well trough under the wire to hold the water for humidity, it has sections marked off on it where to fill.
