Thank you,

I have the Hova Bator 1588 this hatch is my 2nd from start to finish.. I did start another one but was interupted by a 3 day power outage... SOo one of my first time broodies finished hatching them out for me.. SOO I don't count that one.

The picture of the hatching blue was taken with my Sony Cybershot.. through the glass... the top was closed.

I can't believe it... just checked the bator again..... ALL 11 of the bbs eggs I bought from Gumpsgirl has either hatched... or has a pip in it right now.

Hi! congratulations!

I am glad you posted this. I am getting eggs this week and will be using my 1588 for the first time. I appreciate the picture you posted of the cartons. It was hard to imagine what they looked like. Doesn't the carton make it difficult for the chicks to move around? Do or will you take them out as the chicks hatch? Just wondering.
Another question-Does it matter if you use the auto turner for the first 17 days to place them on their sides without the cartons. In other words do they need to stay upright?
