Hello, as seen from the title, I am going to attempt to hatch a couple of my thick shelled maran eggs. This will be my first time hatching chicks, and is there anything different you have to do for thicker shelled eggs?

X2, today is day 0, tomorrow is day 1.Oh, and make sure to count you first day as day 0. I find that is a common mistake for people hatching eggs. You may already know, but though I would say it anyway. I am pretty sure I saw that some were around here, is that correct @MGG?
I have a Hatch-A-Long going on now. 4 Austra White, 1 Columbian Wyandotte, and 1 Blue Maran egg. The Austra and Columbian are bred to BCM or Lav Orp/BCM roo and the Maran is bred to a silkie!Anyone else hatching eggs anytime soon? or now?
