Incubating Turkey eggs advice desperately needed.

Quote:
The larger eggs dont do as well in still air incubators. They need turn alot more also when in still air.

Temp on large eggs from top to bottom big range.

I have found hatching turkey and peafowl about the same. Both dont do as well when shipped as other eggs.

Thank You , that explains a lot,

When I get eggs shipped in a few days this time I will put them in my Lyons TR6 with an auto turner and pray the hatch goes well.
The beauty of the TR6 is you never have to touch the eggs again after setting them, the only thing you have to watch is the hummidity and temperature, everything else is taken care of by the incubator.

I just got thinking about it and I always make sure to wash my hands"after" handling the eggs. never before ! what a dolt, I never gave it a thought to be honest.
I do remember reading this in many other posts, I am not sure why I never thought to do this, but will from here out.

I agree Bantam eggs are the simplest to hatch out, and they are the cutest little things. I love them as much as my game hens.
I guess I got cocky with hatching out 2 of 3 Sabastopol eggs,
I will definately clean up my act from here out..
Thanks Everyone for the awesome advice and support.
