Incubating turkey eggs - Help needed

I tried to candle on Sunday, saw some shadows! Will probably candle again today (since there is a blizzard here, and nothing else to do) I'll let you know what I find!

Out of 17 eggs, I think maybe 5-6 are growing. I have to move some eggs tonight, so will candle them too. I'm glad we didn't pay a lot for them, because either they had been in extreme temps (?? maybe) or the "man " of the house wasn't doing his job. Will post again later tonight, let you know. How about you??

We have the temp set at 99.5 -ish when we incubate turkey eggs, they stop turning on day 25. If your temp is closer to 100 they usually hatch about a day early. It doesn't seem to bother the eggs or poults one way or the other. One of our sportsmans runs just a little bit hotter than the other and is closer to 100. We have 6 varieties of turkeys, Midget White, Beltsville White, White Holland, Bourbon Red, Royal Palm and Standard Bronze. The Midgets are just getting started laying, from when they get going good there is about a month waiting list right now. The others are pretty open. We do have 2 auctions going on Ebay this week for 1/2 dozens of Midgets and the other for a mixed bag of Beltsville, Holland and Beltsville.

9 of 12 Bronze turkey eggs looking great.
2 blood rings & 2 no shows taken out Friday.

On day 7:
I added 5 of my LB Cochins first ever eggs.
I was too in love with them to break even one for fertility check.
I just set them and hoped!!!!!!
They are all fertile and growing!

Good Roo doing his job!

Everyone is headed into lockdown Friday.

I've got to get these BCM chicks out of my brooder for the turnaround!

So, I have 9 of 12 going into lockdown Friday.

Tarheel- how many did you put into lockdown yesterday?

I can't wait for some poults to hatch alongside my Cochins.
Cochins should hatch a bit ahead, since i set them 8 hours short of day 7 for the turkey eggs.

This will be the most exciting hatch yet!

So this hatch has been many firsts for me! First ever turkeys! First combined chickens/turkeys. First egg carton hatch. First Spraddle leg chick fix.
Whoo busy weekend. Too busy for posts, glad that I had 3 days for this one. So hatched so far:
5/9 turkey eggs. 1 pipped on the pointy side, I didn't catch it and it shrink wrapped. I still have 3 turkey eggs in the bator. Today is only day 29.
So I will have to float test them tomorrow, but I am not holding out TONS of hope.
5/6 chicken eggs hatched and in the brooder. The last egg is zipping as we speak. So far 3 LB cochins (my first project eggs from my own birds!) and 2 Ameracauna/Cochin crosses. I think one is a frizzle is it even possible to tell at this point? I have a frizzle cochin roo and this little one has kind of wavy looking down feathers. I'll get a pic of that chick tomorrow.

Here's the brooder:
