Not a fan of bleeding them out. The first lost it's head cause I pulled to hard, the others kept there's. Just breaking necks and flopping chickens.

No I haven't tried them. I would like to get a drum plucker just for convenience but it probably won't happen.

they work great, expensive though
and it can start to remove skin if you arent careful

@Jessimom Kathy I was thinking about you and kiddyo this past weekend, do you have anything special planned for the summer with her?

Hi Sally!! She is continuing to wrack up the miles! Her dad is taking her up to Oregon for a week (next week) - he just bought a house up there, and this will be her 3rd trip.

She has summer school the whole month of July, so in August, We're planning on going back east. My BF will not fly when we are capable of driving, so we are driving out and back. We'll do a 2 week trek of mostly driving. Currently we have no scheduled stops along the route, except for visiting my family in Mass, NH and Maine. Maybe detouring a night in MO with an old HS friend. Jess already made the drive from Maine to CA 2 summers ago, so I know she will have fun as long as we can find merry go rounds along the route.

How about you? I love the pup pics!! Any fun plans for the summer? I really hope you are beginning to feel better!!!
