Makes sense. I wasn't sure how much the ready made one would cost. I'm a tinkerer but most of the time it would have been easier and probably cheaper to buy it.

Yeppers. I was thinking yours was comparable but couldn't remember seeing final pictures. I like your design better due to the fact I would want the meaty part of the strap left on for security purposes rather than doubled up. Good job looks mighty nice.

If it spins I don't see why not. It would take some engineering but could be done I'm sure.

All the videos I saw had a barrel with the rubber nubs pointing inward, and they dropped the chicken in and it bounced around and came out mostly clean.

How do you get the chicken in contact with those rubber nubs? Do you hold it?

I can't see any reason for it not to work. It would be quite the conversation piece if you can pull it off...

Those tub pluckers come with a hefty price tag... even the homemade ones. I have $20 in mine... but I have to hold and turn the bird.
