There were two on their backs. One was on its back for really long time just shaking the other was on its back caught because chickens were pushing eggs into it.

So it probably wasn't smart but I had my husband turn both of them on their feet very quickly.

I couldn't help it.

Ugh. I like a new mama.

Two more hatching right now! There's like no room.

But my children and I forgot to get the food ready yesterday

Those goaties are ADORABLE, sally!!

Yeah, we all need a goat or two..... Or ten! My neighbor used to have three goaties, they were SO sweet.

@kwhites634 have you had the occasion to try the Super Soaker yet? I was thinking of you this morning - After I let Dumbledore and the girls out, I walked by the coop on the way to the next one. He came back in the coop preparing to do one of his dominance displays by rushing the HW cloth near me. I saw it coming and started to reach down for the Super Soaker, and he froze midstride and stopped so fast he actually skidded out in the bedding before running away back outside. No shots fired.

Actually, I haven't. Its new home is on the lid of the nest box. I noticed 1st thing that it leaks when laid on it's side like that. Guess I'm going to have to fashion some sort of hanger for it on the chain link. Either that or keep it strapped to my leg in a holster, ala Matt Dillon & hope no "bad guys" call me out.

scramble some egg yolk and break it to tiny bits for them until you get food

Mine must just be stupid than. Light shining in the coop and on the ramp for them. All there roommates are inside already, they just stay outside and yell about stuff.
