Thanks
I don't like you!![]()
who is this aimed at
thats great that you found homes for most, and thats awesome about your mom being a chicken lover, thanks!Hi Daxi!! I haven't been home for 2 days, so I'm relying on family to tell me what's going on. As of 7 am, there were 6 chicks - 3 different types, but he said the chicks were lying on the eggs, so he couldn't see if there were any pips. That is the maximum amount of info he is willing to give.
My bantam EE's from the easter HAL are starting to crow. This is the earliest I've had anyone start. Probably why someone in the neighborhood complained. I've found places to take 14 of the roos. 2 of them with take 2 each and the other will take 10.
My parents now live with me. My mom is retired. She is with the chickens all day and provides most of their care. She SAYS she doesn't like them, but her actions say otherwise. She is WAY more attached to them, than I am.
Congratulations!!!
Happy Hatching everyone!!!!
Oh, geez - some of mine (the Cream Legbars) started at 3 weeks. All of EHAL group are crowing now at 9 weeks.![]()

I understand from others that many CLs DO typically crow early. I also confirmed (with the breeder whence he came) that my rooster/sire crowed extremely early, and so his sons are as well. I actually had one try at 2 weeks. I almost fainted. Tried to mount a pullet at 6 weeks. They're a handful...

Yes, my cream legbar started at just a few weeks too, if you call that crowing.I'm so sorry - I've had chicks who looked like that when that young, and lost them. Sometimes it's not meant to be.![]()

Go chickies!!!![]()
Ummmmmm.... I've sort of already found a breeder within about 20-30 minutes of me...
Ummmm.... And I've sort of already contacted her and may put my name down on her wish list once I can make sense of the kidding schedule for next year...![]()

We know you're a very safe driver. It's when you stop - if you can just not step out into a pot hole and twist your ankle...![]()
This is so beautiful!!!!
You'll either develop speed reading skills or you'll go nuts and or give up on the thread.![]()

Yeah, well, it is just a bunch of noisy kazoos until their body size catches up - really funny until it becomes really noisy. The EHAL group in general is starting to cross the cute/noisy line now (if this morning was any indication). Cull is coming for the CL boys and olive egger boys very soon, need to grow out the Marans and GNH longer to select keepers...Yes, my cream legbar started at just a few weeks too, if you call that crowing.![]()

.The other question besides time , and the difficulties of change is how to afford to eat those foods.Yes my freind this are the worst! You won't believe how many taste you will begin to feel after you have clean your palate from them! You will not belive how sweet is milk or an apple! The sugar is THE MOST HARMFUL INGRIDIANT THAT YOU USE! It is, with stress, the basis of almost all the metabolic syndrome disorders!
