It is another dreary day. Maybe the landscaper won't come after all. I hope he does! I also hope he doesn't bring his "helper" that mowed down my rhubarb! Thankfully, it came back quickly, and I have already harvested some.
Regardless, as long as it is warm out, Duckling can play outside. I HATE worms, but if she does pick one up, I will deal with it. My fears should never be her's.

We had a big rhubarb patch growing up but I haven't replanted as an adult.
They come back so well.

They're cute in a weird way.

Better meat production and egg production due to lack of feathers, which is a waste of protein. Well adapted to heat and supposed to do well in cold as well. And they grow fast.

Expected temp today 106. All my chickens are doing ok however when temps stay this hot for so long it wears them out.
